Since Rachel won't post any....here are pics of Kirby and Bennett. Kirby doesn't like to wait for the picture to be taken....but he was smiling before it flashed. Look how cute they are! Kirby had his little hands in his pockets....so cool.

And....here is a shot of Jason's favorite birthday gift. My brother is a rep. for DC Shoes and is always generous. Hopefully soon we can get Jason a coat and get him on the slopes. For now, chairs will have to do. He is great at every sport he tries....so I am sure snowboarding will be no different. Why can't I be that way? HA!

I am happy to announce that i am going to be an auntie again! So far I have Kirby, Bennett, Adrian, Ethan, and Isaac.....but will soon be adding Baby Boy Thomas! We are so excited for Tara and Matthew. They are going to make great parents.

2008

Happy New Year! Jason and I celebrated the new year with some friends from church. Jason got all spiffy looking for the event. (searsucker pants didn't show up well in this pic....shoes.....courtesy of my bro Roy) He is such a cutie!

Merry Christmas! (a little late)

Jason and I had a great 1st Christmas together. We started off in Shelby, then back to Raleigh, and ended up in Greenville with my side of the family.
Jason and I started our own family tradition by reading the story of Jesus' birth on Christmas Eve.

People are good?

So today I (Jason) was faced with the stupidity or sin. I along with most people have made plenty of mistakes in my life, though Christ graciously changed me and continues to live through me. Since August most of you know that I have been working full time at the Boys & Girls Club, it has been a great transition. Sometime over this past weekend, someone decided to break into our club all for a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff and maybe $15 in quarters. In the process they did around $8000 worth of damage but left most of the things we need to keep the club going. Of course today was a difficult day of trying to put the pieces back together, but we still served 175 kids today and most people didn't even notice. The overwhelming thought that has continued to stay with me all day is that I am no different than the person(s) who did this, except that Christ has changed my heart and I am no longer living a life of sin, rather a life that is hopefully glorifying to Him. Please pray for Kathleen and I as we strive to live a life that will glorify Him.
