Nashville Trip

Jason had a conference to attend for the Boys and Girls Club in Nashville, TN. I got to tag along and visit with some friends who live there.
On day one, Kelly and baby Rocco picked me up and took me around the city. Kelly was a great tour guide. She even took me to a cool print shop that makes all of it's posters on the printing press. It reminded me of one of my favorite college art classes. She took me to a great hot dog place call Hot Diggity Dog and then a tasty cupcake place.
That night, Jason got to join us for dinner with Chris, Brooke, Britain, Mike, and Susan Byers. We ate at a neat little taco place near Vanderbilt. It was great catching up with them, since I hadn't seen them since Britain was born. I am sad I did not have my camera.
The next day, Kelly came over again and we took advantage of the hotel pool. Baby Rocco had never been in a pool....and he did great. We then went back to Kelly and Trae's house and played with Rocco. He is such an easy baby.....and cute too. He is living up to his name....his hair has grown in like a mo-hawk!
Jason and I had a good time our last night there....with his co-workers. I enjoy hearing all about the other Boys and Girls Clubs and what they are like. I am glad Jason likes his job.....it's neat knowing he is making an impact on today's youth. I like to brainstorm with him and come up with activities that will make a difference.
So yes, we had a good time. I did not see any Country Musicians. Bummer.....I was really hoping to see Reba and sing a few lines of "Fancy" with her. As my college roomies know.....I can sing a mean Fancy. Oh well......maybe next time.










I thought it was funny that Jason and I stayed in the Kitty Wells room. I don't know who she is....but she sure has a fun name.
