Roy and Misty's wedding!

We are very excited to have a new "Cox" in the family. I could not have picked a better wife for my big brother. I have also never seen my brother so happy as he was this past weekend. Jason and I look forward to many fun family events to come. We feel very blessed to have such a loving and happy family....that is now more complete!
85 guests came all the way to San Juan, Puerto Rico to celebrate Roy and Misty. It was a wonderful weekend. Charlie was the most famous guest at the wedding. Come to find out, he loves to travel, swim, put his feet in the sand, and sleep through night time festivities. While Charlie was sleeping, he missed a fun ceremony and a wonderful dance by the bride and groom. Unfortunately for him, he was also too young (and toothless) to eat the yummy local foods.
We were sad to return home after such a fabulous time.
I love being married and consider it one of the best things I have ever done! I wish the same for Roy and Misty. There is nothing better than sharing your life with your best friend.

During the seventh month

We can hardly believe our baby is about to be 8 months old! Charlie is scooting all over the place. He especially enjoys things that aren't toys...shoes, cords, dvd's,...
He is pulling up on everything he can reach. Charlie loves being outside. He especially loves to swing. Time is flying by!

Who knew my love could be so strong!

So here we are almost 7 months after Charlie was born and getting closer to 3 years of a wonderful marriage to the most beautiful bride anyone could ask for and I continue to be astounded at how much my love continues to grow each day for both Charlie and Kathleen. Could I be any more fortunate to have them in my life? I just want everyone to know that Kathleen is the love of my life and I never knew the way my love would grow each time I saw her smile...and then our Charlie, the most amazing gift I could ever imagine. Talk about a smile that will bring you to your knees, that boy is a sexy little Weathers!!

During the sixth month

I just couldn't resist posting more pictures of Charlie.
I hope you all notice his rounder cheeks. Finally, one thing he gets from ME!
We have one more month until we leave for Puerto Rico for Uncle Roy's wedding. In honor of that upcoming event ....we have enjoyed dressing C in Yankees/Brooklyn onesies (where Roy and Misty live).
As far as the UNC gear....we are not fair-weather fans!

Cutie baby post

Oh my goodness! Charlie is such a fun little guy. He loves to move. He loves trying out new poses with his body. As you can see in some of the pictures, he is very flexible. His backward scooting has advanced to going in circles. I guess I will have to start mopping the kitchen floors and vacuuming more. I never believed everyone when they told me time would fly by. I believe them now!
It seems that Charlie is finally getting himself into a little bit more of a schedule. He is napping longer during the day and his bedtime is slowly pushing itself past 5pm! I guess he fits into our family well since Jason and I both have strange schedules.
Charlie has also been loving his JeJe time. My wonderful Mom comes to keep Charlie while I work on Tuesdays. He loves to show off for her. She has also figured out how to rival Jason at getting him to laugh. I can not thank her enough for blessing us in this way. I know Charlie feels the same way.
He is such a joy to me. Life is different with Charlie. He has helped me to see what is truly important in life. I do have days where I wish I could go and do whatever I wanted without having to think about his needs. But once I see that sweet face those thoughts are all gone. I thank God daily for him. Jason and I are very blessed!
